Welcome New Employees
Due to the growth of Precision 2000, Inc., new people are joining our team. The engineering team is excited to welcome Dr. Joshep Alva. He is a civil engineer, with a strong 12-year background in the construction industry. He has held managerial positions with Top 100 construction firm. He is also experienced in public projects for the government. As an entrepreneur engineer, confounded and former shareholder of CONSTRUIA Group, an engineering consulting Company. Trilingual engineer: English, Spanish and Italian. As academic he has performed research on many financial topics in regards to the A/E/C industry.
Cirque du Solei
Most of Precision's employees and their families went to enjoy the new performance of Cirque Du Solei called "Alegria" at the Cirque tent in Atlanta . This enjoyable moment was great to forget the stress of the office and share a smile with friends and family. The performance was remarkable; the acrobats, the dancers and of curse the clowns, with wonderful music and lighting created a magical atmosphere that left an imprint in all of us that had the pleasure to see the show. Additionally, many of us goofed around at the gift shop, and tried to be a Cirque du Solei's artist. Meanwhile, others preferred to try a big ice cream.
6th Anniversary Celebration
Precision 2000, Inc. celebrated its 6th anniversary this past June. For that reason, administrative and operation employees shared a great moment at Precision's head quarters. At the meeting, the employees enjoyed some cheese tables and red wine. The president of the company spoke about these six years of hard work and dedication. Also, our human resources director gave certificates to some employees as a recognition of their work such as the most longstanding employee, the most creative, and the most successful no-Colombian-employee on understanding the Colombian Culture. Finally, all guests gathered in front of the building to take some pictures which will be in our history records for the future years. |

New Projects
During the second part of the year, Precision 2000, Inc. has started two new projects for the company. They are Plant Dalhlbert and Sugar Mill Creek. The first project was located at Dahlberg Plant, a Southern Company plant at 585 Jarrett Road , Nicholson , Georgia . The project included drag down outside banks, installation of 450 lineal feet of corrugate metal pipes, drainage structures, relocation of 1,000 lineal feet chain link fence, and landscaping. The second project consisted on the construction of the urbanism of Sugar Mill Creek Subdivision Phase II for Dekalb Housing Authority. The Subdivision was located at 1652 Bouldercrest Road , Atlanta , Georgia . The project included earth work, 11,000 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter, 16,300 square yards of asphalt concrete paving, sanitary sewer system, drainage structures and pipeline, and water system.
