Precision 2000, Inc. was incorporated in 1998, by a group of Civil Engineers in Atlanta , Georgia . Its goal is to develop projects where company expertise and high technology are an added value for the customer.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Precision 2000, Inc. will provide the highest quality products and services in commercial construction. We will capitalize in our experience and skills in construction management and general contracting of multiple areas such as concrete work, site preparation, and erosion control. We will be creative in our means and methods to optimize cost and time for each project.

Technology
 Precision 2000, Inc. has specialized machinery to be used in the different projects. For instance, projects in the area of airports infrastructure demand that the work to be done minimizing interruptions of airport operation. It also requires working under extreme weather or temperature conditions because in some cases the nights are the only time to work.
Among this machinery there is a volumetric concrete mixer (top picture). It produces the concrete mix with a computerized equipment that calculates the precise amounts of materials to reach the desired concrete resistance and curing time in accordance with the design specifications. In addition, Precision 2000, Inc. has equipment which is used to apply epoxy adhesive and equipment for cutting and demolishing concrete. |
 The epoxy equipment (bottom picture) allows the application of the mixture in great amounts because it uses a compressed-air system and nozzles, which allow a uniform mix of the components.
Since engineers and technicians at Precision 2000, Inc. are in charge of preparing the high-performance concrete and the epoxy additives, this guarantees achieving the required technical standards without ever needing third party intervention. This is a key element for the success of the projects. |

 Carlos F. Sánchez
Carlos Sánchez, co-founder and president of Precision 2000, was born in Colombia , South America . After finishing his studies of civil engineering at Colombian School of Engineering in Colombia , he went to Atlanta, Georgia to continue his studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and he obtained a Master of Science in Management of Technology, (Executive Program). In 1998 he and Ms. Obregon founded Precision 2000, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Sanchez has more than 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the Construction Industry. He has scheduling and budgeting control skills. As a project manager, he is very strict in following schedules and completing the project before the projected deadline. He has extensive background in heavy construction projects and a great air field experience. As the president of Precision 2000, Inc., Mr. Sanchez is responsible for the overall, operations, and management of the company. He supervises to guarantee the proper execution, timely completion, and delivery of jobs. He oversees the estimating department to prepare and submit proposals and go through bidding and negotiating phase. Mr. Sanchez is directly involved in marketing efforts.
 Guiomar Obregón
Guiomar Obregón, co-founder and CEO of Precision 2000, was born in Boston , Mass. and grew up in Bogotá , Colombia . After finishing her studies of civil engineering at Colombian School of Engineering in Colombia , she moved to Atlanta , Georgia and obtained an MBA, master of business administration, with focus in finance and a MS, Master of Science in Civil Engineering, at the Georgia Institute of Technology . In 1998, she and Mr. Sanchez founded Precision 2000, Inc. As CEO of Precision 2000, Inc, Ms. Obregon is responsible for obtaining bonding and financing to support company operations. She is responsible for the overall management of cost control system and contract administration. She also oversees the payroll system, benefits, and general administration. She participates in marketing and procurement opportunities.
